Refund policy

Effective Date: August 16, 2026 
Because cranial prostheses are personal-use products and 
may be specially ordered, fitted, altered, or customized 
for an individual client, the following refund and return 
terms apply, subject to applicable consumer-protection 
law. 
Custom & Special Orders 
Once customization, alteration, construction, or 
fulfillment of a custom cranial prosthesis has begun, 
payments associated with completed or committed custom 
work, materials, or nonrecoverable costs may be non
refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law. 
Customizations may include, but are not limited to, 
cutting, coloring, bleaching knots, plucking, styling, cap 
alterations, fitting adjustments, adhesive preparation, or 
other client-specific modifications. 
Non-Custom Products 
Eligibility for return of an unused, non-customized 
product will be determined according to the condition of 
the merchandise and applicable law. Products must not 
have been worn, altered, cut, colored, washed, styled, 
damaged, or otherwise changed from their original 
condition. 
Incorrect or Damaged Orders 
Clients should inspect their order promptly upon receipt. 
If an item arrives damaged or materially different from 
the confirmed order, contact PINKNIFICENT Prosthetics 
promptly with the order number and photographs when 
appropriate so the matter can be reviewed. 
Deposits 
Deposits may be applied toward materials, ordering, 
appointment preparation, customization, and other costs 
associated with fulfilling the client’s order. The 
refundability of a deposit will depend on whether work or 
nonrecoverable commitments have begun and applicable 
law. 
Insurance 
Insurance denial, reduced reimbursement, delayed 
reimbursement, or a client’s failure to obtain insurance 
reimbursement does not automatically cancel the client’s 
financial responsibility for an authorized order. 
Any refund legally required will be provided 
notwithstanding this policy.
